Do you have a powerful idea worth spreading? TEDxTAMU is now accepting speaker nominations and applications for our conference on March 29, 2026. Submissions open on August 1, 2025, and will close on November 1, 2025. Whether you're nominating someone who inspires you or applying to take the stage yourself, we want to hear from you.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTAMU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTAMU event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxTAMU is an annual conference that brings the Aggieland community together to celebrate ideas worth spreading. Centered around a unique theme each year, the event features inspiring talks from a diverse lineup of speakers and dynamic performances from local talent.

Salons are smaller, community-focused events held between our main TEDxTAMU conferences. Featuring curated TED and TEDx talks, these gatherings create space for meaningful conversation, idea sharing, and continued engagement throughout the year.
